Mission

Enhance city and regional climate resilience through open access to high resolution climate hazard data.

Mission

Enhance city and regional climate resilience through open access to high resolution climate hazard data.

Our mission is to democratize access to urgently needed hyperlocal climate data for under-resourced cities and areas most vulnerable to climate threats.

Data provided through ClimateIQ’s interactive dashboard empowers communities and decision-makers to identify the neighborhoods facing the greatest climate risks, enabling them to make informed, data-driven decisions.   Our vision is to enable decision makers across sectors and communities to better plan and prioritize where to invest in risk reduction strategies, to target operations and emergency response where they are most needed, and to invest in social capacity for community resilience in climate vulnerable locations.

Partnerships

We are working closely with stakeholders in cities across the world, including New York City, Phoenix, Copenhagen, and others. We work with our partners to train our AI, validate model outputs to allow global replication, and co-develop ClimateIQ to ensure ease of use and accessibility across multiple user groups and communities.

We welcome collaboration from city stakeholders, organizations and others who can assist with testing and feedback. Participation in ClimateIQ beta testing will provide an opportunity for city officials, community organizations and other stakeholders to shape the direction of the tool and gain early access to outputs to improve local climate resilience and adaptation planning and response.
