01
Interactive Dashboard
Access Information on Inland Flooding
With ClimateIQ, view flood depth and extent under multiple rainfall scenarios at 10-meter resolution to understand localized flooding in your community. The dashboard allows you to explore flood depth for a range of possible storms, ranging from storms with 100% to 0.1% chance of occurring annually.
Explore Data on Heat
Extreme heat events occur during days when temperatures or other measures of heat stress are much higher than normal. Heat hazard information is modeled for the hottest months of the year at a spatial resolution of 500m. With ClimateIQ, you can view air temperature, relative humidity, and heat index information.
Insights Explorer for In-depth Analysis
The ClimateIQ Insights Explorer provides detailed information, allowing users to compare exposure across regions. The Insights Explorer includes tables, charts, and a hazard score for the area of interest. Information can be easily shared with your community or stakeholders.

New York City
We are partnering with the New York City Mayor’s Office of Climate and Environmental Justice to validate outputs from the modeling environment and to test a working prototype of ClimateIQ. We anticipate that the tool will enable MOCEJ and other agencies such as the Office of Emergency Management, NYC Department of Environmental Protection, MTA, and others to better understand which areas and communities will be impacted most by localized climate hazards, and to prioritize investments in planning and emergency response and to aid in development of resilience and adaptation plans.
Phoenix
The ClimateIQ team is working closely with the City of Phoenix's Office of Sustainability to address emerging climate hazards such as flash flooding from extreme precipitation events. Phoenix has seen an increase in such events over the past several years, placing vulnerable communities at risk across the metropolitan region. ClimateIQ aims to equip city officials and planners with high resolution climate hazard data to better plan and prepare for flooding events, and to understand multi-hazard risks from both flooding and extreme heat.
Copenhagen
We are partnering with the City of Copenhagen’s Climate Solutions Lab, an incubator for smart city initiatives that works across agencies and departments within the City's administration. The ClimateIQ team is working closely with city officials to understand emerging threats from extreme heat and drought, as well as flooding as extreme weather events become more common and complex. ClimateIQ will be leveraging existing municipal data as well as new sets of data from our AI modeling environment to equip decision-makers with additional information to plan and prepare for current and future risks.
